Tragedy has struck the Anthony Joshua camp.
Kevin “Latif” Ayodele, Joshua’s longtime personal trainer, and strength & conditioning coach Sina Ghami sadly lost their lives on Monday following a devastating road accident on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, where their vehicle collided with a stationary car.
Anthony Joshua, the former world heavyweight champion, was hospitalized after the crash but was discharged on New Year’s Eve and has since returned to the United Kingdom. Newly surfaced footage shows the heartbreaking aftermath, with Joshua being assisted from his damaged vehicle.
The Joshua family has now broken its silence, describing the incident as deeply traumatic and profoundly troubling. The boxing world mourns the loss of two respected professionals and stands in solidarity with Joshua during this painful time.
